eTradesman
There are basically two different features to eTradesman:
- providing people with an easy to use search function to help them find a tradesman in their area.
- providing tradesmen and trade businesses with a cost friendly and effective way to advertise their business and increase their online exposure.
Matt from eTradesman explains that it was brought about after hearing tradesmen complain with the costs of advertising in such things as the yellow pages as that was seen as the only option for advertising their business – the high costs of this were really having a negative impact on the smaller businesses (many more smaller sized trade businesses than larger ones).
There was also the growth of the internet, and many tradesmen were aware of its popularity but weren’t sure how to best go about getting involved. So with this in mind we created an online directory for tradesmen where they could profile their business and give detailed information of the services they offer – once setup this then provides them with great online exposure to a direct audience (people looking for tradesmen) and gives them great value, $99 a year.
